“When children pretend, they’re using their imaginations to move beyond the bounds of reality.  A stick can be a magic wand.  A sock can be a puppet.  A small child can be a superhero.”  Fred Rogers

“Of all the needs (there are none imaginary) a lonely child has, the one that must be satisfied, if there is going to be hope and a hope of wholeness, is the unshaken need for an unshakable God.”  -Maya Angelou

It’s a tanpopo (dandelion) kind of day!  Happy Monday everyone!

Who says the youngest child suffers from not having enough pictures taken of him or her?  Not in this household :) The images below were taken during Daddy-daughter time at the park.  Happy Friday, everyone!

Earlier this year, one of my students, Keisuke, asked if I could shoot his band so that they would have images to show on their website.  I thought it would be a fun project as I have never shot a band before.  The band, Alter Chord, met me in March and we had fun shooting at several locations at their school’s campus.  Below are the results.  Enjoy!

As people where leaving church after the Easter service and lunch, my family was one of the last ones to leave.  My youngest had just taken a short nap inside the church and being the photographer that I am, I decided to just take a few shots of my kids and my friends’ kids.  Well, I was delighted with what I captured.

CAUTION: There is a lot of cuteness in this post.  And I mean a lot!  This is not for the faint of heart.  I repeat: it is not for the faint of heart!  Proceed with caution….and oh yeah: enjoy!!

Taken from a pre-wedding in Moji, Japan.  Enjoy!

Spring is here.  The cherry blossoms are late this year but they are just around the corner.  And when that happens, this beautiful lady will be my model during a spring shoot project.  The images below are from a short shoot we did at the end of last year.  Enjoy!
